Cardi B may be used to the spotlight, but the "Bodak Yellow" rapper admitted she isn't built for the sun. On Sunday, May 17, the Grammy-winning artist took to her Instagram Stories to share a humorous update after attending her 4-year-old son Wave’s baseball game.

The First Pitch and The Heatwave

Cardi threw out the ceremonial first pitch of the game, with Wave by her side as the crowd enthusiastically chanted her name. However, despite the supportive atmosphere, the rapper was quick to joke about her discomfort in the outdoor setting.

"Being outside in this heat for a baseball game, ugh, I can't handle it," Cardi confessed to her followers. "I'm ready to pass out, I can't handle it."

The experience led her to declare herself definitively a "girls' mom," citing her preference for air-conditioned venues.

"This is why I say I'm such a girls' mom," she quipped. "A dance recital inside, I love it. I love a dance recital inside."

Family Updates and Relationship Rumors

Cardi shares Wave and her daughters, Kulture (7) and Blossom (19 months), with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. She also shares a son, born in November 2025, with New England Patriots player Stefon Diggs.

The rapper and Diggs reportedly split in February 2026 after more than a year together. A source previously told People that Cardi "didn't trust him and felt like things were going on behind her back." However, recent sightings have sparked reunion rumors.

According to insiders, the pair has been seen spending time together publicly, with one source noting that Cardi "still cares" about Diggs and "never closed the door completely" on their relationship. The insider added that Diggs has "stepped it up a few weeks ago and showed her he wants to make it work."

Whether she's cheering from the sidelines or the stands, Cardi continues to balance her high-profile career with the realities of motherhood—one sweat-inducing baseball game at a time.
